Adding and Managing Products
DubLedger provides a comprehensive product management system designed for the cannabis industry's unique requirements.

Adding a Single Product
1. Navigate to Products in the sidebar
2. Click the + Add Product button
3. Fill in the product details:
Basic Information
- Name: Product name (e.g., "Blue Dream Flower")
- SKU: Unique stock keeping unit (e.g., "BD-FLR-001")
- Brand: Brand or cultivator name
- Category: Flower, Concentrates, Edibles, Vapes, Pre-Rolls, Topicals, Tinctures, Accessories
- Regulatory Category: State-specific category (e.g., "Marijuana Flower" for METRC)
Cannabinoid Information
- THC %: Total THC percentage
- CBD %: Total CBD percentage
- THC mg: THC milligrams (for edibles, tinctures)
- CBD mg: CBD milligrams
- Weight: Product weight in grams (for flower, concentrates)
Pricing
- Unit Price: Retail price per unit
- Cost Price: Wholesale cost (for margin calculations)
- Tax Rate: Applicable tax rate (auto-filled from settings)
Stock
- Quantity: Current stock level
- Low Stock Threshold: Alert level for reordering
- Location: Which store location this inventory belongs to
Compliance
- Batch Number: Internal batch tracking number
- METRC Package Tag: State tracking system ID
- Harvest Date: When the product was harvested
- Expiration Date: Product expiration (if applicable)
- Lab Test URL: Link to lab results certificate
4. Upload a product image (optional but recommended)
5. Add tags for easier searching (e.g., "Indica", "High-THC", "Sale")
6. Click Save

Bulk Import
Using CSV Import
1. Go to Products → Import
2. Download the CSV template
3. Fill in your product data in the template
4. Upload the CSV file
5. Map columns to DubLedger fields
6. Review the import preview
7. Click Import

Managing the Catalog
Product Categories
- Flower: Indica, Sativa, Hybrid, CBD-rich strains
- Concentrates: Wax, Shatter, Live Resin, Rosin, Oil, Kief
- Edibles: Gummies, Chocolates, Beverages, Baked Goods
- Vapes: Cartridges, Disposables, Pods
- Pre-Rolls: Singles, Packs, Infused
- Topicals: Creams, Balms, Lotions, Transdermals
- Tinctures: Sublingual drops, Sprays
- Accessories: Papers, Grinders, Pipes, Vaporizers
Inventory Adjustments
- Use for: damaged products, theft, samples, returns to vendor
- Always include a reason and note
- All adjustments are logged for compliance

Low Stock Alerts
Setting Alerts
1. Go to Products → Low Stock Alerts
2. Set global thresholds by category
3. Or set individual product thresholds
4. Choose notification method: in-app, email, or SMS
Alert Actions
- When stock hits the threshold, an alert appears
- Click Create Purchase Order to reorder
- Or click Transfer to move stock from another location
- Alerts are cleared when stock is replenished
