How to add products, set pricing, and manage your catalog.
Adding and Managing Products
DubLedger supports single-product creation and CSV bulk import with the fields cannabis retailers need.
Adding a single product
- Navigate to Products.
- Click + Add Product.
- Fill in the product details:
Basic information
- Name: product name (e.g., "Blue Dream Flower")
- SKU: unique stock keeping unit
- Brand: brand or cultivator name
- Category: Flower, Concentrates, Edibles, Vapes, Pre-Rolls, Topicals, Tinctures, Accessories
- Regulatory category: state-required category mapping
Cannabinoid information
- THC %: total THC percentage
- CBD %: total CBD percentage
- THC mg: THC milligrams (for edibles, tinctures)
- CBD mg: CBD milligrams
- Weight: product weight in grams (for flower, concentrates)
Pricing
- Unit price: retail price per unit
- Cost price: wholesale cost
- Tax rate: applicable tax rate, auto-filled from settings
Stock
- Quantity: current stock level
- Low stock threshold: alert level for reordering
- Location: which store location this inventory belongs to
Compliance
- Batch number: internal batch tracking number
- Expiration date: product expiration, if applicable
- Upload a product image (optional but recommended).
- Add tags for easier searching (e.g., "Indica", "High-THC", "Sale").
- Click Save.
Bulk import
- Go to Products → Import.
- Download the CSV template.
- Fill in your product data.
- Upload the CSV and map the columns to DubLedger fields.
- Review the import preview and confirm.
