- Select the Destination Location (where inventory is going).
- Add products: search by name or SKU, then enter the quantity to transfer.
- Add a note (optional but recommended).
- Click Create Transfer.
Transfer status workflow
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Created but not submitted; items can be edited or removed. |
| Submitted | Sent for approval; source inventory is reserved. |
| Approved | Approved by the destination side; inventory is deducted from the source. |
| In Transit | Products are physically in transit. |
| Received | Destination confirms receipt; inventory is available. |
| Cancelled | Cancelled before receipt; inventory is returned to the source. |
Location access
- Users can only create or approve transfers for locations they have permission to access.
- Destination managers must approve transfers before inventory is moved.

The Transfers page shows all pending and historical transfers. You can filter by date range, source location, destination location, or status.
