How to handle cash, card, and other payment types.

Payment Methods

DubLedger supports cash as the only payment method at the POS and online today. There is no live card processing, ACH, or digital wallet integration.

Cash payments

  1. Select Cash as the payment method.
  2. Enter the amount tendered (what the customer gives you).
  3. The system calculates change due automatically.
  4. Complete the sale.

Cash at pickup or delivery

For online orders, you can allow customers to pay in store when they pick up, or to pay cash to the driver on delivery. Both options are handled as cash transactions in DubLedger.

What is not supported

  • Credit or debit card processing.
  • PIN debit.
  • Pay-by-bank / ACH.
  • Digital wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • House accounts or split payments.
  • Split tender across multiple payment methods.

If you need a non-cash workflow, process payment outside of DubLedger and record the transaction as cash.
